"A Star is Born"

Beyonce reportedly just signed on to do a remake of A Star Is Born. Mindy Peters, the wife of film producer Jon Peters told the Houston Chronicle that Jon had signed Beyonce to the film.
A Star Is Born is a film made popular by Barbra Streisand in the 70s, Judy Garland in the 50s and Janet Gaynor in the 30s. The movie centers around a has-been rock star who falls in love with a young, up-and-coming songstress.

My favorite thing about Beyoncé has always been that despite the fact that she is well-manicured and coached to within an inch of her life, there is roughly a 50 percent chance that she is also a complete and total lunatic. I cannot explain why this is ... though, as Exhibit A, please allow me to present this song, which sounds like what would happen if the Supremes cut a track while someone was playing "Frogger" in the background (and I mean this in the best possible way). "Single Ladies" is hyperactive and supercharged in ways I never thought possible. It's epic and sexy and even a bit sad (because, you know, he didn't put a ring on it), and it manages to out-crazy even "Ring the Alarm" (thanks mostly to B's shout-out to Buzz Lightyear three-quarters of the way through). I love this song unapologetically, in reasons I am probably not doing a very good job of conveying. All I know is that there is absolutely zero chance Beyoncé ever releases a single like this ever again, so, you know, enjoy it while you can. "


Yay! I'm happy she's in at number 2. The Britney stans on MTV need to stop comparing her to Beyonce. And they need to realize that Beyonce's here to stay. Beyonce already sold 1 MILLION copies worldwide the 2nd week her album was released. Take -that- Britney stans :)

MTV feels Beyonce is "Boring"..

Speaking of weddings, you still won’t really talk about your new hubby, Jay-Z. Privacy is one thing, but you guys barely even take pictures together. And maybe you do like to go out and have a good time, but how are we supposed to know this? It kind of takes away from the fun of your party anthems if we think you’re actually sitting at home embroidering pillows or something.

My opinion?-
This article is complete Bullsh%#. I'd rather Beyonce being "quiet, shy and boring" then being a nuiscense to the public, humiliating herself, shaving her head, going to several clubs in one night, and showing her vajayjay to the paparazzi..just to sell more records. I mean... it would be nice if she talked about her life more...but it's not our business. That's the problem with people now-a-days..they wanna know anything and everything, and they need to realize their not going to get anything and everything from Beyonce.

-Well...let's not get too carried away, 'Ye. I love me some Beyonce too, but...I don't think she's better than Tina Turner, 'cause if it wasn't -for- Tina Turner, Beyonce wouldn't be doing as much of the stuff she does now. As far as him saying "She's a living legend"...I would most certainly have to agree. Beyonce has achieved so much, and she's a true artist.

Solange's new video, T.O.N.Y.!

Truthfully, at first, I was scratching my head, 'cause I did not understand this video. But when Solange was on the toilet and when she sat down, I was REALLY scratching my head, 'til I noticed she was taking a pregnancy test and I'm like....WOW...this video is GENIUS! And I love the end when she writes on the picture "To Tony....I'm in love now", with the picture of her and her son. So cute! Very smart! It totally brings a new concept to the whole song!

My "I Am...Sasha Fierce" Review.

This is my opinion on Beyonce's album. I'm in love with it, although some songs need to grow on me.
If I Were a Boy: 10/10- Obviously a classic. I love it.
Halo: 10/10!!- I'm absolutely in LOVE with this song. I love the lyrics. Her next big hit. LoveitLoveit. (Already number 4 on my Top 25 Most Played playlist on my iPod and I just got the album yesterday!)
Dissapear:10/10!- The lyrics are amazing. Her voice is stunning. Could be another hit. My favorite line. "I try to reach you, I can almost feel you, you're nearly here and then, you disappear"
Broken-Hearted Girl:9/10.-I love this song. It still has to grow on me though. Maybe a 10/10 if I love it, but it's definately a strong song. I love the her vocals.
Ave Maria:10/10-Ms. Beyonce HIT me outta the park with this one. I was speechless by the end of it. Listen to the end and tell me Beyonce can't sing.
Smash Into You: 10/10.-I love this song alot! Captivating lyrics "And love was right in my path, in my grasp, and me and you, belong."
Satellites: 9/10. It's growing on me, but I love the melody.
That's Why You're Beautiful:10/10- One of my favorites! The lyrics are BEAUTIFUL. I love it!

Radio: 10/10- It's so damn catchy! I love it, definately another hit for Beyonce.
Diva: 10/10!- My JAM!!!!!!!!!! I loveeee this song. If you loved the song "A Milli" By Lil Wayne, you're gonna love this. But don't compare the 2 songs, they're both different! I love this song (Number 5 on my Top 25 Most Played playlist)
Sweet Dreams: 10/10- It's Beautiful Nightmare! But remastered and all that! I love the new feeling to it. Definatley a fav!
Video Phone: 9/10- Not my favorite, it has to grow on me, but it's very catchy, and I find myself singing it very often! LOL!
Hello(ooo): 10/10- Although I feel this isn't a Sasha fierce song, I love it so much. It's kind of Sasha Fierce-ish, 'cause of her tone of voice, and the rawness, but I love the song! Her vocals are amazing, and it's SUPER catchy!
Ego: 9/10- The song needs to grow on me. It's catchy, but not my favorite. But so far it's a 9/10. =P
Scared of Lonely: 10000000000000/10!!!! - Ah! I love this song. It's definately a future hit! "'Cause I'm lost in this dream, I need you to hold me, I'm scared of lonely" I love the lyrics, and I'm so in love with this song!!! LOL.

I just saw the worst blog ever.
It's a shame how people hate Beyonce,
and it's mostly african-americans who hate on her, when they should be proud that she's a black woman, and she's one of the best singers and she has achieved ALOT, that maybe no other artist have. I am extremely proud of Beyonce and all her accomplishments, while others don't care, they don't give her a chance, or they're just jelous. So this is to address the haters.
If you "hate" Beyonce, WHY do you spend your time making a whole blog dedicated to her? You must secretly love her, but you're trying to be "cool" and write hateful things about her. Wouldn't you try to avoid her? But people are just ignorant, and uneducated.
And to be honest, unfortunatley, Beyonce has alot of haters, but it's ok, 'cause for every hater, there's 10 people who love her. And dammit, I'm one of those 10.

I would post the link for the blog, but it's extremely horrible. And it truly, just ruined my WHOLE day!
